Goals for 2021 and review of 2020

The year 2020 was a tough year for everyone. The impact of Corona was not foreseeable in the beginning of the year but here we are. I took some effort to achieve the goals nevertheless. So, yes, I married and passed my project management certificate. But we could not make it to Hawaii. Concerning the expert visibility, I made some progress which will be revealed end of 2022 but I am not willing to disclose this right now. However, in Febraury I will give a guest lecture in Automotive Lidar at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology about Lidar Processes and Manufacturing. Also, I will give a small talk about Near Field Lidars in this year’s March as previously posted.

For 2021, I would like to carry on my innovative aims. I would like to aim for six patents again.

  1. Work on my blog about leading regularly with two posts a month at least. I already reworked the layout in Janurary.
  2. Updating my book about studying.
  3. After updating, my long term goal for 2021 is to make an audiobook out of it. This will be a thrill and a challenge but I am looking forward doing it!

So, let us see what we can achieve!

2020 – accelerating expertise and marrying

Hello everyone,
it is now mid of Jan 2020 and I would like to update you on some points. First of all, happy new year, if I have not said so. Secondly, I updated the patent section that have officially disclosed from 2018. I can already guarantee two new patents for 2020 but my aim is four – so let’s see what I can make out of it. As usual, I cannot give any information about them until they are revealed 18 months later. So, you have to wait.

On the other hand, I have the following aims for this year:

  1. Marrying my fiance
  2. Go onto a trip to Hawaii for the honeymoon
  3. Finishing my project management certificate
  4. Building up some visibility outside of my company for being an expert on Lidar technology and optical measurement techniques.

Well, we will see how this works out in 2021 but I will carry the internet along this way. 🙂
